Vinatieri makes NFL Top 100 list

Adam Vinatieri may be the oldest active player in the NFL at 42, but he's showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he seems to be getting better with age.

The latest evidence: The Indianapolis Colts kicker was named to the NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2015 list, coming in at No. 98.

Vinatieri is the first kicker to make the list and certainly made a strong case for himself last year, connecting on 30-of-31 field goal attempts. His 96.8 field goal percentage was the highest of his 19-year career.

Fellow Colt Pat McAfee seemed hopeful the award will usher in a new era of of respect for kickers and punters.
