Vick 3rd quarterback for Eagles

Published Oct. 17, 2010 1:21 p.m. ET

Michael Vick is Philadelphia's third quarterback for its game against Atlanta, with Kevin Kolb getting the start.

Vick, who was delayed in getting to the stadium Sunday, is bothered by a rib injury sustained two weeks ago and did not play in last week's win over San Francisco.

Also sidelined for the Eagles is starting left tackle Jason Peters (knee) and defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (elbow). Originally, the team believed Bunkley needed surgery on the elbow, but now he's expected back in a few weeks.

The Falcons are without starting linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, their first-round pick from Missouri who has a sprained right knee. Third-round pick Mike Johnson, a guard from Alabama, also is inactive.
