The Tennessee Titans finally have Marcus Mariota under contract and fans will soon get a virtual taste of what to expect from the rookie quarterback this fall.

In anticipation of the release of Madden NFL 16, EA Sports unveiled their ratings for this year's Top 10 rookies. Included among the group is Mariota, the second overall pick in last April's draft.

The Heisman Trophy winner was given an overall rating of 78. Tampa Bay's Jameis Winston, the first overall pick in the draft, was the highest-rated quarterback at 81.

"Mariota is a double threat with 87 Throw Accuracy Short and 88 Throw Accuracy Mid, as well as 90 Throw on the Run, 88 Speed, 90 Acceleration, and 79 Elusiveness," EA Sports wrote.

Oakland receiver Amari Cooper was the highest rated rookie overall with an 82.

While the 21-year-old Mariota, who signed his rookie contract with the Titans on Tuesday, was taken second overall, his Madden ranking was only good enough for ninth best among the rookies.

The rating came as something of a disappointment to Mariota, who was featured in a promotional video for the game. The former Oregon star, like many other members of the rookie class, fell short in predicting his own ranking.

Now that Mariota is officially under contract, the good news is he has a whole season ahead of him to impress the game's creators and raise his rating for next year.

Madden NFL 16 is scheduled to be released Aug. 25.
