Titans' Mariota to start against Texans

HOUSTON (AP) — Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota will start on Monday against the Houston Texans despite missing practice after suffering a stinger last Sunday.

Mariota returned to practice late in the week after recovering from the injury that forced him to sit out of Tennessee's 38-10 loss to Indianapolis last Sunday.

Inactive for the Titans were WR Taywan Taylor, DB Dane Cruikshank, RB David Fluellen, RB Dalyn Dawkins, G Aaron Stinnie, T Tyler Marz and DL Matt Dickerson.

Houston's inactive players were WR Vyncint Smith, CB Natrell Jamerson, CB Deante Burton, ILB Josh Keyes, OLB Duke Ejiofor and DEs Carlos Watkins and Joel Heath.
