Titans interview defensive coordinator Ray Horton for coach

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans, the last NFL team looking for a coach, have another option already on staff.
The Titans confirmed Saturday that they interviewed defensive coordinator Ray Horton.
They interviewed interim coach Mike Mularkey and Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin on Friday and former Buffalo coach Doug Marrone on Thursday.
Horton just finished his second season with Tennessee. He worked with assistant head coach for defense Dick LeBeau in helping the Titans jump from 27th in total defense in 2014 to 12th overall in 2015.
A former safety with Cincinnati and Dallas, Horton has 21 years of experience in the NFL coaching with Washington, Detroit, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Arizona and Cleveland.
Mularkey finished the season as interim head coach after the Titans fired Ken Whisenhunt on Nov. 3.
