The Chargers have two hobbled tight ends on their roster now

Pete Metzelaars should bring crutches and a wheelchair with him to film study this week.

The Chargers' tight ends coach oversees one injured group now that understudy Ladarius Green is banged up, too.

This, from Sunday's road loss against the Baltimore Ravens:

Green was spotted in a walking boot and street clothes later in the game. That's not a great sign for his availability in Week 9.

Meanwhile, Antonio Gates had to suck up and play through a knee injury vs. the Ravens. He's limited -- but he's also the only viable option for a black-and-blue depth chart.
