T.Y. Hilton makes NFL Top 100 list

T.Y. Hilton's standout 2014 season resulted in a Pro Bowl berth in January and another big honor on Wednesday, as the Indianapolis Colts wide receiver was named to the NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2015.

Hilton is ranked No. 35 on this year's list, which is based on voting by fellow NFL players. The 25-year-old Hilton, who is entering his fourth season in Indianapolis, caught 82 passes for 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns in 2014.

While being recognized as the 35th-best player in the NFL is a signficant accomplishment in its own right, Colts punter and Twitter enthusiast Pat McAfee felt the ranking was a little low for his liking.

This marks Hilton's first appearance on the Top 100. He joins teammates Adam Vinatieri (No. 98) and Vontae Davis (No. 59) so far on the list, with 30 spots left to be announced.
