Speculation begins that Jaguars may take Amari Cooper

Are the Jacksonville Jaguars in the market for an offensive weapon to help out franchise quarterback Blake Bortles?

According to a report by Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, they may just be.

While most draft projections have assumed Jacksonville will take a pass rusher like Florida's Dante Fowler, Jr. with the No. 3 overall pick, Florio says "chatter" has began that the team will instead select Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper.

If so, it would give Bortles a legitimate No. 1 receiving threat. Cooper is considered by draft analysts to be the top wideout in what is a deep draft class of receivers.
