The real-life version of Peyton Manning played in 17 seasons over 18 years, missing one because of a severe neck injury. His video-game counterpart, however, had no such issues during 18 years in the "Madden" football franchise.

With Manning calling it quits earlier this week, the most prolific football video game paid tribute to the Denver Broncos signal-caller in a one-minute compilation of video-game Manning through the ages.

The whole clip is pretty spectacular, even if it reminds us how old we're getting. We're pretty sure we played with Manning in every one of these iterations of game. Once Michael Vick calls it quits, we won't know where to begin with our Madden franchise teams.
