Saints set joint practices with Texans during training camp

If you want some preseason action, look no further than when the New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans set up joint practices before preseason games.

According to Nick Underhill from The Advocate, the two teams will once again have joint practices before a preseason game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on August 30. This alone is obviously news that gets us excited about the build up to the 2015 season, but let's not forget what happened in consecutive years of joint practices between the Saints and Texans.

As Underhill points out, the two teams "practiced together before preseason games in 2008, 2009, and 2010, but did not do so prior to games during the next three preseasons. The practices between the two teams featured fights during both the 2009 and 2010 sessions."

This season's joint practices will be held on August 27-28. Maybe the two teams can avoid the fireworks this season?
