Saints rookie wide receiver Brandin Cooks could miss up to six weeks with a broken thumb, FOX Sports has confirmed.
The standout pass catcher, who has 53 catches for 550 yards and three touchdowns through 10 games, is slated to miss two-to-four weeks, Mike Garafolo has learned.
It's a blow to a reeling Saints (4-6) team that has lost two straight home games for the first time since 2009.
Confirming that @brandincooks had successful thumb surgery & according to dr, should return in approx 4-6 weeks.
