Ron Rivera on Cam and others celebrating: 'These guys are not robots'

While we've heard plenty about Cam Newton and others celebrating over the past week, Ron Rivera wanted to make sure that it was known that he has no issue with celebrating.

After Newton had an intense "dab" session after a late touchdown against the Tennessee Titans, Rivera backed his quarterback, and did so again over the past weekend. According to Sal Paolantonio of ESPN, Rivera said the NFL needs to be a little bit about entertainment as well.

“There was more made of it than should have been,” Rivera told Paolantonio. “It was a little long. But it was not taunting. I have no issue with it. It’s not just football anymore. It’s about entertainment, too. These guys are not robots.”

I'm sure the 10-0 start and yet another impressive victory probably makes Rivera want to do a little dance as well.
