Romo resumes throwing at Cowboys practice
Tony Romo gave Dallas Cowboys fans a glimmer of hope for the future when he returned to the practice field Wednesday and did some light throwing.
Romo, who has been out since Week 2 with a fractured clavicle, looked like he was doing more than just tossing the ball a few yards back and forth:

While that is certainly a positive sign for his recovery, Romo is currently on IR-designated to return, which means he cannot play until Nov. 22 against the Miami Dolphins even if he is ready before then. The Cowboys are currently in last place in the NFC East with a 2-5 record, but the Giants are leading the division at 4-4.
Dallas got Dez Bryant back last week, though he is dealing with some actual monkey business off the field. If the Cowboys can win both or one of their next two games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then get Romo back against Miami, they will not be out of the playoff hunt.
