Roddy White says Falcons 'behind the eight ball,' praises Panthers
It's not a big surprise to anyone on the Atlanta Falcons that they have an uphill climb to catch the 9-0 Carolina Panthers for the NFC South crown.
With that said, it sounds as though the Falcons are ready to come out and play the home stretch like a team ready to hit on all cylinders and make up some ground.
As D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, veteran wide receiver Roddy White spoke about being ready to keep up with the pace.
“We are behind the eight ball right now,” Falcons wide receiver Roddy White told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Ol’ Cam (Newton) and (the Panthers) are out there still balling. They are finding ways to win games. We have to go out there and keep up with the pace.”
“When you are on the bye week and you watch football, see other teams and see how they are playing and when you watch Carolina, they just find ways to win,” White said. “They just find a way to put (themselves) in position to win football games. They are doing a good job of that week in and week out.”
Can the Falcons come out and make up some ground on the Panthers? Atlanta still has two games on the schedule against Carolina, so we could be in for a fun final run of football.
