Report: Vikings coach, Harvin in beef

Another receiver, another issue for Brad Childress.

The Minnesota Vikings coach got into a heated discussion at practice Friday with Percy Harvin, the Star Tribune reported.

Harvin, who sat out Wednesday and Thursday because of an injured left ankle, got into an argument with the coach when Childress questioned Harvin's effort in practice, sources told the newspaper.

Harvin, who was injured early last weekend at New England but was able to stay in the game, is listed as questionable for Sunday against Arizona, but it's expected he will try to play.

"He's a tough guy," Childress said. "Let's face it, he injured that foot on his first catch of the game and still was very productive. I would just say he's tough."

Harvin leads the Vikings with 31 receptions.

The Vikings added receiver Bernard Berrian (groin injury) to the injury report but he is listed as probable.
