Report: New Orleans Saints sign two after Junior Galette release

Published Jul. 28, 2015 12:56 a.m. ET

As reported by Evan Woodbery of NOLA.com, the Saints are going about business as usual after the roller coaster ride of releasing Junior Galette. Woodbery reports that the Saints have added both tight end Kevin Brock and guard Cole Manhart to the active roster.

The moves come after of course releasing Galette, but also waiving center Mike Brewster with an injury designation.

As for Brock and Manhart, well, they'll have a climb to make the final roster in New Orleans. Brock has made his rounds on practice squads and active rosters since 2009. Woodbery reports that he originally signed as an UDFA with the Carolina Panthers, but has been on nine teams to this point in his career.

As for Manhart, he was a part of the Philadelphia Eagles before being released in June.

It's been a whirlwind over the past two days since the Saints chose to part ways with Galette, but it's time to focus on football and the 2015 season. With training camp set to kick off, you know where the Saints' focus is.
