Report: New Orleans Saints choose to part ways with Brodrick Bunkley
The New Orleans Saints are still in the midst of making moves, it seems. The most recent move by the team came on Tuesday when they chose to part ways with defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley, according to Dan Hanzus of NFL.com.
As Hanzus explains, the Saints made the decision on a failed physical designation. While Bunkley played in 11 games for the Saints in 2014 before suffering a torn quad, he tallied just 17 combined tackles.
Bunkley was of course hoping to be back in action sooner than later, but he hadn't taken part in any offseason workouts, per Hanzus. It's safe to assume that the 32-year-old will still land somewhere in the NFL, and we wish him the best of luck moving forward.
