Report: Eli Manning not concerned about contract

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is entering the final season of his six-year, $97.5 million contract. According to FOX Sports, there have reportedly been no discussions between Manning and the Giants on an extension.
When approached about the status of his contract recently, Manning didn’t seem to be concerned at all.
"I haven’t made a big deal about it," he said.
Manning had a similar response when he was asked the same question back in December, as reported by the NY Post.
"If the Giants want to discuss it, we’ll discuss it, but it’s not a focus of mine,” he said at the time. “I’ve never been real worried about contract stuff. I let all that just handle itself."
Manning, 34, is entering his 12th season with the Giants. He indicated he would not be insulted if an extension was not in place prior to the start of the regular season.
Manning’s confidence could be related to the fact that he threw for the second-most yards (4,410) and tallied the second-most touchdowns (30) of his career this past year.
Not to be bothered with his future beyond this year, it appears the two-time Super Bowl winner is taking the calm and cool approach. At least, that's what he wants everyone to believe.
