Report: Cowboys DE Randy Gregory withdraws 10-game suspension appeal

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory withdrew the appeal of his 10-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy and will be suspended 14 games, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter and Todd Archer.
Gregory will not be eligible to play again until Week 16 against the Detroit Lions on Dec. 26.
Gregory was placed on the reserve/did not report list at the beginning of training camp and was released from substance abuse treatment facility this month.
A second round pick in the 2015 NFL draft, Gregory has failed mulitple drug tests since entering the league, including tested positive for marijuana at the NFL scouting combine.
Gregory played in 12 games as a rookie, recording 11 total tackles.
