Rumor has it John Dorsey tried to stage another Green Bay reunion in Kansas City.
The Chiefs' general manager reportedly reached out to ex-Packer James Jones, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. Jones signed with the Giants last week.
WR James Jones, who chose the #Giants over offers from #Eagles, #Chiefs, #Seahawks & #Bengals, will be signing a 1-year deal with NYG.

Dorsey rose to power in Green Bay's front office at around the same time Jones broke onto the NFL scene. It's no surprise that he'd try to sign the nine-year veteran.
It also shows how Dorsey views his own team's depth at wideout. The Chiefs signed L'Damian Washington this week, but might not be done shopping.
