Report: Buccaneers TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins arrested for DUI
Third-year Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was reportedly arrested on DUI charges early Friday morning, according to the Tampa Bay Times:
The Times reports that Seferian-Jenkins, a second-round pick for the Bucs in 2014, cut off a Florida Highway Patrol trooper after merging onto the interstate at a high rate of speed. According to the police report, as obtained by the Times, Seferian-Jenkins "performed poorly" on field sobriety tests and needed to lean on objects to maintain his balance. He declined to take a breath-based test to determine his potential level of intoxication.
This would be Seferian-Jenkins' second alcohol-related charge, as he pleaded guilty to DUI while attending the University of Washington. The Bucs reportedly cut Seferian-Jenkins on Friday after his arrest became public.
