Redskins missing TEs Reed, Paul against Giants

Published Dec. 1, 2013 7:27 p.m. ET

Tight end Jordan Reed is inactive for the second consecutive game because of a concussion, leaving the struggling Washington Redskins without their second-leading receiver.

Reed, a rookie third-round draft pick out of Florida, has 45 catches for 499 yards and three touchdowns.

Also out for Washington against the New York Giants on Sunday night are tight end Niles Paul, who is sick, and fullback Darrel Young, who has a hamstring injury.

Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks is active after missing last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys with an abdominal injury.
