Redskins activate 2 players

The Washington Redskins have signed safety Sha'reff Rashad and defensive lineman Joe Joseph to their active roster.

The team also placed defensive lineman Kedric Golston on injured reserve and released defensive lineman Jeremy Clark.

Rashad signed with the Redskins' practice squad on Nov. 8. He was undrafted out of Central Florida in 2009.

Joseph signed with Washington's practice squad on Dec. 15. He originally signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent and was released on Sept. 4. He joined the Giants' practice squad on Dec. 1 before being released on Dec. 14. Joseph played at Miami, Fla., in college.
