RB Steven Jackson set to start for Rams

Published Oct. 3, 2010 5:12 p.m. ET

Running back Steven Jackson was in the St. Louis Rams' lineup despite missing two days of practice and getting only limited work on Friday because of a groin injury.

Defensive tackle Clifton Ryan was inactive for the second straight week on Sunday due to migraine headaches.

Jackson missed the second half of last week's 30-16 victory over the Washington Redskins after getting gang-tackled and having his legs stretched out. Jackson played the last third of the 2009 season without practicing due to a herniated disk that required offseason surgery.

Running back Julius Jones, listed as the backup behind Justin Forsett, was among the Seattle Seahawks inactives. Linebacker Leroy Hill was placed on injured reserve with calf and Achilles' tendon injuries.

Free safety Oshiomoghe Atogwe, hampered by a deep thigh bruise in practice, was active for the Rams but James Butler started in his place.

The Seahawks added offensive guard Mike Gibson and defensive tackle Craig Terrill, but Terrill was inactive. Tackle-guard Chester Pitts was released.
