RB Barber, CB Samuel out of Eagles-Cowboys game

Published Dec. 13, 2010 1:35 a.m. ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber is out for the second straight week because of a calf injury, and the Philadelphia Eagles are playing their third consecutive game without Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel.

Samuel tried briefly this week to return to practice from a knee injury. Sunday night was the fourth game Samuel has missed this season, though he still leads the NFL with seven interceptions.

The Eagles are also without starting right tackle Winston Justice (knee).

Orlando Scandrick is active for the Cowboys a week after sustaining a concussion. Linebackers Keith Brooking (foot), Bradie James (knee) and Sean Lee (shoulder) also are playing.
