Ravens likely to be without two starting offensive linemen Monday

Published Nov. 29, 2015 5:36 p.m. ET

Bad news for new Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback Matt Schaub. The left side of his offensive line will likely be down its two starters in Monday night's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Left tackle Eugene Monroe and guard Kelechi Osemele are both listed as doubtful after leaving last week's game against the Rams. Monroe has been battling a shoulder injury and did not practice all week. He has already missed four games and part of two others this season. James Hurst is likely to step in his place in Cleveland.

Osemele has been dealing with a nagging knee injury and did not practice Friday or Saturday. If Osemele is unable to play, Ryan Jensen will start in his place for the second straight week.

Schaub, making his first start in place of the injured Joe Flacco, will be taking snaps from John Urschel, who will be making his second start at center in place of Jeremy Zuttah. Zuttah is out for the season with a pectoral injury.

While injuries have ravaged the Ravens this season, head coach John Harbaugh is still confident in his offensive line's ability.

"I’m not too worried about the O-line at all," Harbaugh said via the team's official website. "It’s a cohesive group, we have depth, and no matter who is playing is going to play really well.”

Elsewhere on the injury front, rookie tight end Nick Boyle is expected back in the lineup after missing last week with a foot injury. Cornerback Shareece Wright is questionable with a back injury after missing Saturday's practice while receiver Marlon Brown (back) is doubtful.
