Ravens' Harbaugh says Bengals are most talented team in NFL
The Baltimore Ravens are 0-2 for the first time in John Harbaugh's tenure, but judging by their head coach's comments, their toughest challenge lies ahead in Week 3.
The Ravens will host the 2-0 Bengals in their home opener this Sunday fresh off a demoralizing 37-33 loss to Oakland, a team that Cincinnati steamrolled 33-13 in Week 1.
When asked about Cincinnati's receiving talent, Harbaugh went out of his way to pay extra compliments to his AFC North rivals.
"I do believe it is the most talented team in the league,” Harbaugh said via Bengals.com. “I’ve seen that over the years. We have great respect for them, for their coaches [and] the way they play. Obviously, it starts with A.J. Green, but the whole cast of characters there on offense is very talented and gifted – tight ends, running backs, quarterback. The whole group is very good, and they have a heck of an offensive line. I’d say they’re the complete package, talent-wise.”
It's easy to see where Harbaugh is coming from since his team has dropped three straight games to the Bengals, who have a stronger and healthier roster than last season. With many of their better players in contract years, the window could be closing on Cincinnati to score that elusive playoff victory.
