Raiders quarterback Derek Carr helped off field after apparent leg injury

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 5:52 p.m. ET

Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was helped off the field following an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against the Colts.

The Raiders led 33–14 when Carr went down with the injury. Television cameras appeared to catch Carr mouthing, "it's broken."

Carr's foot appeared to get stuck in the ground while he was being tackled, leading to the injury. He was helped off the field, hopping on his way to the sideline and avoiding putting pressure on his right leg.

The Raiders entered Saturday 11–3, first place in the AFC West. Carr, an MVP candidate, has thrown for 25 touchdowns and 3,705 yards this season.
