Raiders find special teams talent with potential in LB Ben Heeney

Curtis Lofton will probably man the middle in Jack Del Rio's defense next fall.

All the more reason to bring fifth-rounder Ben Heeney around slowly and let him play to his strength on special teams.

Heeney earned a reputation at Kansas for being hyper-aggressive. Check out his highlight reel hits -- they're plenty entertaining.

That aggressive play will suit him well as a kickoff coverage guy right off the bat. In that role, he can hit to his heart's content while learning from Lofton about what it takes to play middle linebacker in the pros.
