Radio caller says he found an ex-Redskin's defensive playbook in a dumpster

The Washington Redskins released linebacker Ejiro Ederaine in its first round of cuts in August, but it seems his defensive playbook did not return to the organization, as is custom.

To the contrary, a listener of Washington's 106.7 The Fan "The Sports Junkies" show called in to report that he found three copies of the team's defensive workbook plus a notebook stamped with Ederaine's name. Josh from Ashburn apparently made the find in a dumpster near Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia.

Josh says he was cleaning out his truck (as opposed to dumpster diving) when he found the books along with Redskins gear, including a pair of shorts.

The caller said in part:

“I can tell you guys, it actually has two different — so it has what you do in a hot route, what his assignment would have been, what the guy next to him’s assignment would have been, it has breakdowns and handwritten things of the new calls, like the defense changed the call or whatever. He scratched it out and put the new verbiage for it. I mean it’s got everything.”
