Pittsburgh Steelers sign 6 to 2011 contracts

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed six players to future contracts for the 2011 season, including linebackers Mortty Ivy and Baraka Atkins.

Ivy played at Gateway High in suburban Pittsburgh and West Virginia University.

Also signed were running back James Johnson, guard Kevin McCaskill, fullback-tight end Jamie McCoy and cornerback Donovan Warren.

They can't practice with the Steelers until after the 2010 season ends.
