Patriots' Brady to promote UGG apparel

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is joining his supermodel wife in the world of fashion — the NFL star will team up with UGG to promote their men’s line, the Boston Herald reported Tuesday.

In 2011, Brady will be featured in a series of advertisements for the brand's line of casual footwear, outerwear and accessories for men.

"I have worn and loved the UGG brand for a long time," said Brady, 33, who is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen — also a fan of the comfy, shearling boots.

“We have decided that we needed to just get the word out there that it’s a brand for guys,” Angel Martinez — CEO of Deckers Outdoors which manufactures UGG Australia -- told CNBC's Jim Cramer, “to give guys permission to wear UGG. And who better to give guys permission to wear UGG than ... Tom Brady.”
