Packers take Maine S McMillian in fourth round
The Green Bay Packers have taken Maine safety Jerron McMillian with the second of two compensatory picks near the end of the fourth round of the NFL draft on Saturday.
The 5-11, 215-pound McMillian had five pass breakups and an interception last season, with 88 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss.
With the pick, the Packers have taken defensive players with their first four picks in the draft. Last year, the Packers took offensive players with five of their first six selections.
The Packers took USC outside linebacker Nick Perry in the first round, then traded up for a pair of second-round picks, Michigan State defensive lineman Jerel Worthy and Vanderbilt cornerback Casey Hayward. They took Iowa defensive tackle Mike Daniels with their first compensatory pick Saturday.
