MILWAUKEE (AP) The Green Bay Packers have re-signed defensive tackle Letroy Guion, a move that could impact the return of fellow lineman B.J. Raji.

General manager Ted Thompson announced the signing on Friday.

A person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press that Guion agreed to a three-year deal worth $11.25 million. The person requested anonymity because the team does not release contract terms.

ESPN.com first reported the financial terms of the deal.

The 6-foot-4 Guion had 20 tackles in 13 games in the 2015 season, starting four games.

Guion was suspended for the first three games of the season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He returned to become a key member of a line rotation on the Packers' solid defense.

Raji is also due to become a free agent.
