One year ago today: The infamous Butt Fumble remembered

There is a historic anniversary to be remembered that happened a year ago today.

Sorry, Mark Sanchez. We know you probably thought you'd skate by today, but we can't let that happen.

The touchdown off that fumble was the second of three the Patriots scored in the span of under a minute in that Week 12 game last year. New England won 49-19.

What's happened in the year since? Mark Sanchez lost his starting job to Geno Smith and the Pats are a robust 11-4 in regular-season games.

And don't worry, we're not piling up on the beat-up New York Jets quarterback. We didn't forget this Smith gem from earlier this year, either.
