NYPD officer and Giants fan nabs photo op with 'Eli's brother' at Letterman

Peyton Manning was in New York City on Wednesday as a guest on David Letterman's final bow as "Late Show" host. 

Also on the scene was NYPD deputy inspector John B. Hart, who couldn't resist a photo op with the former Super Bowl champ as the Denver Broncos QB made his way to the Ed Sullivan Theater in midtown Manhattan. 

But how could a Giants fan reconcile posting a picture on the official Twitter account of NYPD's Midtown North Precinct with someone who is not from his team? 

Easy. Like this: 

"Eli's brother." Heh.

Nicely played, Officer Hart.

Not to be outdone, Peyton had his own one-liner during Letterman's final Top 10.
