NFL Week 5: What do Color Rush uniforms look like?

Week Five of Thursday Night Football features the Arizona Cardinals heading to the San Francisco 49ers.

Thursday Night Football means one thing, and that is another night with Color Rush uniforms. However, both teams’ uniforms for the Color Rush series were black on black. With neither team wanting to play a game with both teams wearing black, the Cardinals are opting for their traditional uniforms to wear during the game.

Uniform fiasco aside, the game should at the very least be interesting because it may not be entertaining. It is tough to sell a game that features Blaine Gabbert and Drew Stanton at quarterback — especially when Stanton has three days to step in as a starting quarterback on the road against a division rival. Add to that the fact that both teams are 1-3 and it’s all the more reason to present the Cardinals in their all red uniforms that compliment the 49ers … oh wait, at least you get to tune in for the 49ers new uniforms.

At the same time, the Cardinals at 1-3 is truly riveting stuff. If they lose this game, a Super Bowl pick by many fans will have the odds completely stacked against them just five weeks into the season. At the same time, the Cardinals have a better overall roster than the 49ers and are four-point favorites in this game.
