Miami Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline missed practice Wednesday because of a finger injury, and coach Tony Sparano said his status is day to day.

Hartline was sidelined in the second half of Sunday's loss to Cleveland.

Receiver Brandon Marshall and linebacker Channing Crowder were limited in practice Wednesday. Marshall missed the past two games with a right hamstring injury, and Crowder missed the Browns game with a knee injury.

Tackle Vernon Carey (knee) did not practice.
