Leading the list of players that won’t suit up on Sunday are Branden Albert and Mike Pouncey. Both were known scratches as Albert will miss 2-3 weeks with a broken wrist and Pouncey is dealing with hip problems.
The good news is Albert is expected to return within a month and Pouncey got better than expected news after seeing a specialist and may only miss one week. In their places, Laremy Tunsil will move to LT while Kraig Urbik will take over for Tunsil at left guard. Anthony Steen will replace Pouncey at center.
The biggest surprise is Mario Williams. Williams practiced this week on a limited basis but is now inactive today with an ankle injury. Jelani Jenkins will also join him on the defensive side of the ball as a sitting starter. Jenkins has a knee injury.
Xavien Howard will sit yet again with his knee injury and is no surprise while tight-end Thomas Duarte and DT Nick Williams will also round out the group of non-actives.
For the Rams, OG Jamon Brown and tackle Pace Murphy are inactive. QB Sean Mannion, DE, Matt Longacre, TE Temarrick Hemingway, CB Blake Countess are also inactive. Cornerback Troy Hill is also inactive. Hill was arrested over the weekend for DUI.
