Matt Forte becomes 12th player to pull off all-purpose yardage feat

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte eclipsed 1,000 all-purpose yards for the 2015 season. He has now reached this milestone in eight straight seasons to start his career.

Forte is only the 12th player in NFL history to pull off this feat.

The majority of Forte's yardage comes on the ground. He has eclipsed 1,000 yards with rushing production alone in five of his first seven seasons.

However, Forte is also one of the league's most productive pass-catchers. He has over 4,000 career receiving yards, including a 808 yards on 102 catches -- an NFL record for running backs.

This season has been a tough one for Forte to pick up his usual all-purpose yardage figures. After suffering a knee injury earlier in the season, he has found himself in a timeshare with rookie Jeremy Langford.

Forte, 30, is nearing free agency and may test his value on the open market next offseason.
