Former Indianapolis Colts players Marvin Harrison and Edgerrin James, along with former head coach Tony Dungy are among the 108 modern-era nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Hall announced Wednesday.

For Dungy and Harrison, this is their third time on the list. Both the Super Bowl winning coach and All-Pro receiver have made it to the final 15 in voting the last two years.

Dungy, who coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as the Colts, is the first African-American head coach to win a Super Bowl. He led his teams to the playoffs in 11 of his 13 years as a head coach.

Harrison, who played 13 seasons in Indianapolis, is third in NFL history in receptions, fifth in touchdown catches and seventh in receiving yards.

James, who retired in 2009 with more than 12,000 career yards rushing, is the Colts' all-time leading rusher with 9,226 yards. He also played for the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks.

The list of 108 nominees will be whittled down to 25 semifinalists in November and then down to 15 finalists in January.
