Luke Kuechly named NFC Defensive Player of Week, credits teammates

What more would you expect from Luke Kuechly?

According to Max Henson of Panthers.com, Kuechly was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career. He was also the third Panthers player to claim the honor to this point in the 2015 season.

Kuechly's response? Well, he simply wanted to praise his teammates.

"It's a cool deal, but really it's a reflection of how our defense played," Kuechly told Panthers.com. "It’s one of those things where you look at it and ask, 'Why did it happen?' We had a great game plan and great coaches that put us in position to be successful."

It seems to always be team-first for these Panthers players, and this was no different.
