Lovie Smith's message to team not changing after Week 2 victory

While the difference between Week 1 and Week 2 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was like night and day, that doesn't mean that the mindset is changing for head coach Lovie Smith. As Zach Shapiro of PewterReport.com explained, Smith's message after the loss was simple.

“One game doesn’t define who we are.” Smith said.

How about his comment after the team took down Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on the road in Week 2?

“It’s the same thing,” Smith told PewterReport.com on Monday. “It was one game.”

Smith is well aware that one game doesn't mean that the switch can't flip back to how the Buccaneers looked in Week 1. Fortunately, Tampa Bay seems to be heading in the right direction, but Smith isn't going to let his team get complacent at any point, especially when it's this early in 2015.
