In the first instance, Tavon Austin couldn’t keep full control of the ball on the way to the ground. Then, later in the game, Brian Quick juggled a pass on the sideline that went every which way but skimmed the ground in the process.
The win in Arizona now gives Los Angeles two strong divisional wins, with the road victory in Tampa Bay serving as a reminded that they’re dangerous away from L.A.
Next week the Rams will host the Buffalo Bills in Los Angeles. Buffalo presents an interesting challenge, and will come into the game with a 2-2 record.
The Bills managed to blank the New England Patriots in Foxborough in Week 4, with a statement win coming the week prior against Arizona.
How Case Keenum handles pressure to perform at home will determine the way that Los Angeles handles the reigns of the division.
By improving to 3-1 on the season, the Rams accomplished their best start to the regular season since 2006.
