Keenan Lewis uses high-altitude mask to prep for two-minute situations

Keenan Lewis isn't willing to be the player in 2015 who gets beat during an opponent's two-minute drill. According to Joel A. Erickson of The New Orleans Advocate, Lewis has taken to wearing a high-altitude training mask to make sure he's ready for these brutal situations.

As Erickson explains, these masks are created to simulate what it's like exercising in a high-altitude condition.

“That’s something I’ve used all offseason, trying to get ready for the two-minute and no-huddle,” Lewis told The Advocate.

“Around the league, a lot of guys are training with them in the offseason,” Lewis said. “I think it’s very beneficial.”

Lewis knows that the most crucial time of a game is the home stretch, when the importance of every play is magnified.
