Karlos Dansby taking vicious verbal jabs at the Browns after being cut
Emotions run high in the offseason, especially in the NFL. Between trades, cuts, free-agent signings and franchise tags, players and teams can get a little salty this time of the year.
Karlos Dansby is definitely going on the offensive after being cut by the Browns. The linebacker was informed he was being released by the team Wednesday and wasted no time venting his frustrations.
The 34-year-old told Cleveland.com that he's "sure the Bengals are licking their chops." That probably didn't sit well with Cleveland fans since the Bengals and Browns have a long-standing rivalry.
But Dansby wasn't finished.

"I appreciated it because it gives me a chance to win," Dansby told the outlet. "There a lot of teams that are close and I can help them.''
"The Browns are in a rebuild,'' he added. "This gets me closer to my destiny.''
The Browns, on the other hand, opted to take the high road.
"We want to thank Karlos for his service to the Cleveland Browns during the past two seasons," Browns executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown said in a release. "He was a dedicated, hard-working leader of our defense and we wish him the best as he continues his career."
Dansby, who signed a four-year deal in 2014 worth $24 million, spent the past two seasons with the Browns. He played in all 16 games last year, totaling 63 tackles and three interceptions.
