Ka'Deem Carey was a fantasy owner's worst nightmare in Week 16

The Chicago Bears' goal-line offense probably cost a handful of fantasy football owners their league championship on Sunday. 

Although they split carries, Bears running backs Matt Forte and Jeremy Langford are both decent fantasy options due to their versatility. Then there's Ka'Deem Carey, a third-string back who rarely records offensive touches.

And yet, in Week 16, it was Carey -- not Forte or Langford -- who scored twice from the one-yard line against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Carey finished the game with seven rushes for 16 yards and a touchdown, as well as a one-yard receiving touchdown. That's a respectable total of at least 13 points in most leagues.

Forte and Langford produced a lot of yardage, but neither player got into the end zone. Forte rushed 11 times for 54 yards and caught three passes for 23 more yards (seven points in a standard-scoring league); Langford led the team with 19 rushes for 83 yards but did not catch any passes (eight points).

The fantasy owner who started Carey over Forte and Langford -- if one even exists -- deserved to win his or her league championship this year.
