Joseph Randle's domestic violence investigation to be completed by Thursday


After a nearly three-month long process, the domestic violence investigation involving Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle is close to a resolution. The investigation is expected to be completed by Thursday, according to police spokesman James Espinoza. Depending on what charges, if any, are levied on Randle, the NFL will likely determine if he is to be suspended. Randle found his own last season with the Cowboys and put together some impressive production on a per snap basis. Randle averaged 6.7 yards-per-carry while racking up 344 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Pro Football Focus charted him forcing nine missed tackles despite seeing just 51 rushing attempts.
If Randle avoids suspension, he should be in the mix to receive a large share of the backfield's workload if he can fade the Cowboys drafting one of the elite running back prospects or trading for Adrian Peterson.
