Jon Gruden 'curious' to see Chip Kelly's plan for Tim Tebow
The Tim Tebow hype train hasn't even pulled out of the tracks, but you can count ESPN analyst Jon Gruden as an someone who arrived to his seat on the train early. Gruden is known for his offseason work with NFL draft prospects at quarterback, and he has always been intrigued by the different players at the position. The pairing of Tebow with an offensive mind like Kelly has Gruden eager to see what will happen.
I'm anxious to see what Tim Tebow has been doing for the last year or so to improve and get himself ready for this opportunity," Gruden said to reporters on Tuesday, according to True Jersey's Elliot Shorr-Parks.
It seems like Gruden is even more interested in the overall puzzle that Kelly will be tasked with putting together.
"I'm curious just like everybody else," Gruden said. "I was curious when they got Sam Bradford. I was curious when they let McCoy go. Real curious when they got the two backs they signed. He's got a master plan I'm sure, and it'll be fun to see it unfold."
Kelly's master plan involves one last haul of players from next weekend's 2015 NFL Draft.
