Johnny Manziel has four-game suspension lifted, can sign with any team
The NFL lifted the suspension off former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and he can now sign with any team, reports ESPN.com's Field Yates.
Manziel, 23, was suspended in June for the first four games of this season after violation of the league's substance abuse policy.
Manziel was released by the Browns in March after two seasons with Cleveland after an alleged domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend.
The former Heisman Trophy winner went 2–6 in his eight career NFL starts. He completed 57% of his passes for 1,675 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Manziel is currently taking classes at Texas A&M, where he spent two seasons before declaring for the draft and being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft.
